Back in the day, the word Gay was used to achieve the meanings of “carefree,” “happy,” or “bright and showy.” You would hear the word Gay Colors for describing bright colors.
Even today, you can see people with the name Gay (or Gaye) in the western world and all over the world. I don’t see why it is a name to be ashamed of.
Decidedly, you can make fun of lots things. Arabic names can be used for some funny stuff
The old church bell will peal with joy
Hurrah! Hurrah!
To welcome home our darling boy,
Hurrah! Hurrah!
The village lads and lassies say
With roses they will strew the way,
And we’ll all feel gay when Johnny comes marching home.
I am well aware of the meaning MuSouka San.. and I still think its funny.. hey I laugh at my own name sometimes… so
