Ahh. This is a problem that you must get over.
The くて on the end of an い adjective does more than just connect multiple adjectives.

It can also just be another way to say “being” or “and”.
As in “being new…” or “it’s new and…”

I know this can be frustrating, but you are truly making great progress. I can see by the nature of your questions that you are well on your way to fluency in Japanese.
