كلمتكم
برغم نصح الطبيب (أنا عايزك تكون في الفراش يا وحش) إلا أني اليوم أشارككم فرحة قد يستغرب البعض سببها لكن التواصل مع العلماء شيء جميل.. فقد انتهيت من قراءة الكتاب التالي صباح اليوم :
وفيه يعرض مؤلفه العالم Francis_Collins مدير the Human Genome Project المنوط بالكشف الجينات الوراثية عن كيفية وصوله بعد جهد و عناء إلى الإيمان بوجود إله مدبر له من الصفات ما يلي :
If God exists, then he is supernatural.
If he is supernatural, then he is not limited by natural laws.
If he is not limited by natural laws, there is no reason why he should be limited by time.
If he is not limited by time, then he is in the past, the present, and the future.
The consequence of those conclusions would include:
He could exist before the big bang and he could exist after the universe fades away, If it ever does.
He could know the precise outcome of the formation of the universe even before it started.
He could have foreknowledge of a planet near the outer rim of an average spiral galaxy that would have just the right characteristics to allow life.
He could have foreknowledge that the planet would have lead to the development of sentient creatures, through the mechanism of evolution by natural selection. نقطة خلاف
He could even know in advance the thoughts and actions of those
creatures, even though they themselves have freewill!
فوالله تراعدت فرائصي (بسم الله على فرائصي من الرعدة) حين قرأت ما توصل الرجل إليه بعد عمر و تحصيل وما جبلني الله عليه ويسر لي أسبابه إذ ولدت لأبوين مسلمين موحدين(1) و قد زاد الكتاب علمي بالمدراس الفكرية المرتبطة بنظرية النشوء والتطور، فالمؤلف تطرق للإسلام على أساس أنه دين سماوي يرفض النظرية حين ترتبط بخلق الإنسان كرفض الكثير من المدراس الفكرية النصرانية.
وهو إذ اعتنق النصرانية مرةً أخرى فهو لا يدعو إلى اعتناقها لكل من قرأ، بل يدعو من جحد وجود الله بالرجوع إليه لأن الجمال الذي يشع من عدسات المجهر كفيل بالعاقل أن يعترف بعجزه أمام ما يعاين.
فَواعَجَبا كَيفَ يُعصى الإِلَـهُ** أَم كَيفَ يَجحَدُهُ الجاحِدُ
وَلِـــلَّــــهِ في كُلِّ تَحريكَةٍ **عَــلَينا وَتَسكينَةٍ شاهِدُ
وَفـــي كُلِّ شَيءٍ لَهُ آيَــةٌ ** تَــــدُلُّ عَلى أَنَّهُ واحِدُ
فآليت على نفسي أن أشكر الرجل، إذ آنسني كتابه و زاد من علمي و هل زيادة علمي إلا معرفة جهلي؟ فعثرت على عنوان بريده الإلكتروني (و اللي يسأل Google ما يتوهش) فأرسلت له ما يلي :

I have just finished reading your recent book ” The Language of God”, which was a great reading material; very informative and entertaining at the same time. As a 28 year old Muslim, I find myself bound to believe in Evolution to take place in all species just as you have advocated , in a macro level and in a biologos style *excluding human beings, yes I know.. I know … But, its a beginning nevertheless! Here sir, I am not trying to argue concept, nor am I trying to persuade a point. Here, I would like to share with you as a reader something that kept reminding me of you “the author” of the book I have at hand; and it is quote from our holy book that fits you like a glove :
وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ (3:191)
3:191 [and] who remember Allah- God- when they stand, and when they sit, and when they lie down to sleep, and [thus] reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: “O our Sustainer! Thou hast not created [aught of] this without meaning and purpose. Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! Keep us safe, then, from suffering through fire!

شفت هالكتاب وياك اخبر يا رائد..وكنت تمدحه لي طبعا من غير ما تقول لي تفاصيله..بس اظن انه من اجمل الكتب لأني رأيتك متمتع وانت تقراه تنطر دورك للبلوت..وانا الأن استمتعت بالمختصر المفيد اللي وضحته لنا..داعيا الله تعالى ان يشفيك ويقومك بالسلامه..على بالي تتعير..طلعت صج السالفه..وباذكرك بالمقوله المشهوره من الفلم الرائع جري الوحوش لمحمود عبدالعزيز ونور الشريف..حين قال:”القرد بيتنطط والا بطل تنطيط”؟ تحيتي لك من هنا انا والربع ولا يفوتك كهرم خان وشيمبانزي افندي واحنا نعطيهم على راسهم انا و انت فاهمني باشا…اراك من شنغهاي..كني ملغت شوي؟؟

والله زين الواحد كلما بغى يسأل عن ربعه دورهم على النت. ليش اتصالات و مجالس و عوار راس، فلتحيا النت!
بخصوص الكتاب، مشكور على عرض هالفكرة. شي جيد و غريب في نفس الوقت ان نفس العالم اللي يؤمن ينظرية التطور وصل لهذا الاستنتاج. العاة علماؤهم في فريقين: فريق يؤمن بالخلق ووجود إله (طبعاً)، و فريق يعتقد بنظرية التطور و ينكر وجود أدلة على الخلق.

السلام عليكم، والشكر لك يا عزيزي على استعراضك الجميل للكتاب وعلى تعليقك المعمق والممتاز. ما لفت انتباهي هنا هو تواضع المؤلف ومبادرته الى الرد على تعليقك وهو امر يجدر بكتابنا ومؤلفينا ان يقتدوا به ويسيروا على منواله.
هناك نظريات مماثلة عن نشاة الكون وتطور الحياة على الارض وانصح بقراءة هارون يحيى المفكر التركي اذ ان كتاباته هو ايضا لا تخلو من العمق والعلمية.

I remember hearing about this (the language/signature of God) back at school when I used to study genetics. I have been doing research lately which will last until the end of ramadhan on the subject of God. Thanks for posting this – a book that I can’t wait to get my hands on to add to my collection and research. It is very much appreciated!
God has given us the power of reflection so that we may speculate upon what we know of ourselves and of Him. The property of this power demands that there be no likeness between Him and us, except specifically our dependence upon Him for the bestowal of existence upon our entities – leading to worship (or bewilderment!, for instance in such cases as those relating to “hay’at al-maknun”). We refer to “the world” (al-alam) by this word only to signify that it has been made a “mark” (alama). In essence, “the world” being writing inscribed on the parchment of existence is engendered from the Name of God, “Al-Dhahir” – The Manifest. It is thus surprising when people claim that God is merely an illusion and sophistry.

صدقت الكتاب كان يلازمني في حلي و ترحالي كحال من قبله لا زلت أضحك من قول أحد أصحابنا : يعني شايل كتاب بيدك بتخلصه؟
و استغرب حين قلت : كذا انهيت كثيراً منها.

أما عن التصنيف عزيزي فالقوم في مراتب أعرضها سريعاً مصنفاً إياهم إيمانياً
1
– Evolutionists قوم يؤمنون بالرقي و التطور و أن لا وجود لرب مدبر و إله مسير.. فكل هذا نتيجة سلسلة من الصدف. و أشدهم في هذا التيار

2- Creationists
وهم في غالبهم من أهل الديانات المؤمنين بأن الرب قد خلق كل شيء ومنهم Young Earth Creationists الضاربين عرض الحائط كل الدلائل الحفرية و الجيولوجية لإعتقادهم بأن عمر الأرض لا يزيد عن 10,000 سنة (غالب YEC من Evangelists الذين يأخذون سفر التكوين Genesis بحذافيره )
3- Intelligent Design believers. و هذه حركة نشأت في التسعينات من القرن المنصرم ( و الله صرنا عايشين بين قرنين يا سلحفاة أنت وياه) وهمهم إثبات وجود جرم حي معقد إلا حد لا يستطاع معه تبسيطه و إن أخذ ملايين السنين ليتشكل لينسبوه إلى مصمم ذو عقل و حكمة دون الإشارة إلى هوية المصمم و يميزهم أسلوبهم الرياضي و يعد العالم William Dembski من رواد الحركة.
4- Theistic Evolutionists وهم الذين يؤمنون بوجود إله وفق ما أشارت إليه الأديان لكن نظرية النشوء والتطور جزء من خلقه وهي عملية خلقها كخلقه للجاذبية و باقي قوانين الطبيعة.
أحب الإشارة يا حجي مبارك أني كنت أسجل كثيراً مما استشهد به المؤلف فوجدت أن إسم العالم المستشهد برأيه مألوف بعض الشيء و بعد تمحيص وتدقيق في خربشات عقلي (وين سامع هالإسم ؟ وين سامع هالإسم؟ أها…. تم العثور عليه) إنه Eddington

حياك الله و بياك. كنت قد قرأت لهارون يحيى The Evolution deceit وهو كتاب جد رائع. كما أن له إصدارات أخرى لكني لا أتفق معه في كل ما ذكر في كتبه. ولكن له الفضل إذ سد هذه الثغرة في الدين و هو عالم بلا شك في هذا المجال.
نعم التواضع سمة العلم و أحد مظاهر الرقي في نفسه و كما ذكر أحد العلماء طلب العلم شديد، وحفظه أشد من طلبه , والعمل به أشد من حفظه والسلامة منه أشد ذاك كله. يعني السلامة من الغرور و الإعجاب بالنفس.

احببت صيغة العبارات و تسلسلها المتدرج في المقتطفات التي قمت بوضعها في هذا البوست
حيث بدأ ب ” اذا ” اي افتراض و من ثم نتيجة و يرجع مرة ثانية يفترض على اساس النتيجة اللي حصلها و هكذا الى ان يصل لما يريد ان نقرأه
ان يتحول انسان قضى زمنا طويلا في الالحاد الى المسيحية لهو تحول كبير و جيد من منطلق انه اتجه الى الاعتراف بوجود الله و الحمدلله على نعمة الاسلام و هاذي من الاشياء اللي تذكر الانسان انه محظوظ
من الرائع ان نقرأ كتابا و لكن الاروع ان يترك هذا الكتاب اثرا في نفوسنا و ان نجد تفاعلا مع مؤلفه

Even though the lined pad gives a nice touch (especially with the Made in Qatar!) but the lines can be a little disturbing with the superimposed text, you can consider a blank sketch pad instead, but that’s just my subjective feel…

Amina – “Certainly, nothing brings more joy than sensing God’s greatness” – although we all know that, but that’s such a beautiful statement. Subhanala I am always my most happiest and feel like I am in heaven whenever I am in God’s company. I had the most amazing Ramadhan last year, just spending time with God or just praying taraweeh and going for talks with those who love God, and I can’t wait for this one! BTW, do you have a blog? I would love to read it. Plus, I am a 21 year old Omani girl who currently lives in UK, so don’t think I am some weirdo!

It seems like studying the DNA closely, so far, disclosed the humankind equality at the nano level, but isn’t our macro-level equality already declared in the Islamic teachings: All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action.
